No price cut but other announcements have been made.
So if you already own a Wii and play it by yourself you realize that it was one of the biggest mistakes you have made. The Wii only focuses on casual gaming which means anyone from a 4 year old to your 90 year old grandma. This means that the gaming industry has to shift focus into this type of market and mostly it doesn't pay off.
Nintendo has been so successful with the Wii that people who never purchased a console will pick one up and that is good enough for Nintendo. The Wii is the only console this generation to not have much in terms of a price drop. The console originally cost $250 at launch and that was back in 2006. With the end of 2010 almost here Nintendo has no plans to cut the price of the Wii.
"Of course, we cannot say it will never happen, but we are not thinking of it for the near future," Iwata said at a Tokyo hotel, when asked about a possible price cut.
Iwata is relying on the new red versions of the Wii and DS to push sales this holiday season and the hype of the upcoming 3DS which is going to sell for $300 in Japan. No price announcement has been announced for the states but it's likely that the 3DS could sell for as low as $250 to as high as $300.

Sonic Free Riders Kinect Gameplay.
Activision CEO named one of the most influential men.
Is it because the lack of sleep or maybe I traveled to a dimension where nothing makes any sense. If so then where are the flying pigs?
That's right folks. At number 16 from their list of 49 influential men alive comes in Activision's own Robert Kotick. Kotick you may recognize from moving their whole QA to Canada there fore cutting hundreds of jobs from the US market, as well as firing employees left and right and destroying studios that were once successful, Exploiting all games at all costs milking each and every single of your dollars for making S#!+ games that only have a 9 month development plan meaning games ship with major bugs or is not even complete and probably haunts your sons and daughters and takes theirs souls to the underworld so they will forever burn in hell. I need a breather.
So let's get back to the point. Making the list at 16, Robert Kotick is #16 how the hell did that happen. Maybe 49, maybe. But when do we celebrate some idiot who cuts jobs from the US economy and the bitches because games aren't selling. Sorry that we don't want to spend our money on your S#!+y games but I'm broke and oh yea your games are horrible.
Seriously I don't know if Activision payed off AskMen.com or maybe they're high on something or probably drunk or maybe lost a bet or something but in order to be considered influential, you have to influence people to do something and not just think about making a profit to fill your already fat pockets full of cash.
Seriously all this time I thought AskMen was a reputable website but wow how did this happen. I do not know.

PES 2011 iOS Review
The competition to Fifa and Real Soccer on the iPhone arrives with some new features and an even bigger roster.
Pro Evolution Soccer is the only real competition to Fifa and mainly focuses on realism and European Leagues more than international teams. While Pro Evolution Soccer is now updated every year it's barely catching up to Fifa in terms of gameplay. Following the release of Fifa releasing on the iOS platform it wasn't long before Konami followed suit. Now with the releas of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 for the iOS platform Konami wants to surpass EA in every possible way.
For most people they see this years' of PES 2011 as an upgrade to last years' PES 2010 for the iOS with added features but for those naysayers our there every sports game out there is actually the same with just some updated rosters and maybe a few tweaks to gameplay. PES 2011 is said to improve on a few things as well as add multiplayer support. One of the things PES 2011 improves on is the AI as well as some graphical improvements and whether effects.
There are several game modes to enjoy. Quickplay will thrown you into the action with any random team picked by the computer. Exhibition allows you to have more control of the match by allowing you to select your team and your opposing team. UEFA Club competition is all about European leagues from different countries. This is more tournament based than anything and you will go through matches until you are crowned champion of the league. League Cup is any team that is available and also includes teams from North America and Latin America. Here you can choose any team and compete against other teams around the world and become the #1 team in the world.
PES 2011 plays just like Fifa where you have your virtual joystick and your A and B buttons to pass and shoot the ball. The joystick is a bit too far into the screen and can sometimes block your view when trying to pass the ball to your partner or steal the ball from your opponent. However you are not stuck with just this option setting. Players have the option to choose from 3 different control settings although this is by far the best option as tilting your control back and forth can get annoying.
AI may have been improved but that doesn't mean that scoring is very difficult. In this game you have to use strategy to make it past the opposing teams defense and requires team work if players are to score a goal. If times perfectly then players will perform summer Sault kicks to hitting the ball with their head the opposite direction and score a goal. Angling the ball right will also guarantee that you score and the goalie will throw himself at the ball in order to stop it however it is much more sweeter when the goalie doesn't catch the ball and you score. However this isn't limited to just users, the AI will also have the same opportunities as you do and one single mistake can cost you the game.
While the controllers are manageable the players aren't. Most of the time you will find yourself struggling to follow your opponent and steal the ball. This is because the computer will automatically switch your player to the one closest to the ball and doing so will throw your players off balance as you will still be trying to control a player who you haven't been able to control for a few seconds. You can set the sensitivity in the options menu to how often the player will change but doing so won't make things better. This is also a plague that affects Fifa and should be taken care of but with the limitations of the iOS that seems like an almost impossible task.
Multiplayer, the newest addition to PES 2011 can be played via a friend using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth Technology. Using Wi-Fi doesn't mean you can play around the world with just anyone. Your opponent actually has to be connected to the same Wi-Fi connection. This is a nice addition although I think we are all waiting for the day when we can challenge people around the world to a soccer match via Wi-Fi on our iOS devices.
A lot of things separate PES from Fifa. Fifa is trying to aim for a more authentic playing experience by adding commentary while PES focuses more on Gameplay than anything else. After playing Fifa 2011 and listening to the commentary, playing PES feels kind of empty as if something was missing. The stadium cheering crowd is also something that needs to be worked on. From time to time when there is no action going on you can actually head the crowd in the background chanting the same thing over and over again. What they are saying is beyond me although it does sound like some sort of ritual is happening in the stadium.
The user interface has also changed from PES and seems more user friendly t than just having all icons in one page. Comparing PES 10 to 11 it seems that Konami actually went the extra mile to come up with a better GUI. Graphically the game looks great and looks like an early PS2 version of a soccer game. The character models move fluently and kick the ball just like real soccer players would. One feature that is overlooked is the collision. When bumping into an opponent your player will move back and lose control of the ball and from then on it's a goose chase to see who gets the ball first.
Closing Comments:
PES 2011 adds some new features and retains the classic style of a soccer game. The addition of Wi-Fi multiplayer is great other than just bluetooth because sometimes bluetooth connection can be a hassle. PES 2011 offers many hours of gameplay and the in game trophy support will adds more replay value as people who want to 100% can always go back try to earn those trophies. Down to its core PES 2011 is what it is. A true soccer game trying to make its mark against other titles like Fifa and Real Soccer from Gameloft. At $6.99 at the app store the PES is a decent buy but I would wait for a sale
or a price drop.

In DUNGEONS, our protagonist falls victim to a devious plot hatched by his vile, nasty and thoroughly vicious ex-girlfriend and finds himself at the bottom of the underworld hierarchy and the top of the dungeon pile. In his world, that is about as bad as it can get. Our lord must have his revenge, and make his way back down the dungeon levels to his rightful place -- but first he must deal with his new bosses, the three despicable Dungeon Lords who stand in his way.
At his disposal are his dim-witted goblin minions who dig tunnels and build rooms to lay out his lair and trap ever stronger and braver heroes who dare to enter, not forgetting to plot his revenge against his ex-girlfriend and his new bosses who think it’s great fun to bombard him with useless tasks. It goes without saying that a malicious and sneaky creature such as our Dungeon Lord has more than a few tricks up his sleeve. Revenge will be sweet indeed.

Toradora Vol 2 Review.
The closing conclusion of the love story between Ryuji and Taiga.
The continuation to Vol1 of Toradora Vol. 2 brings the last 12 episodes home. Vol. 2 is similar to Vol. 1 . It comes with the spoiler book which I still recommend that you read after you've watched the entire anime series. The book includes Interviews with the actors as well as art from the cast and inside look at episodes. It still doesn't beat the old DVD features being added to the DVD. With the latest addition of Vol 2 Toradora! comes to a close but is it as great as the first 12 Episodes?
The answer is Yes and No. Throughout the first 5 episodes the story seems to drag on and you wonder to yourself if the show will ever end. While all episodes have comedy and drama it seems to be the same old as the first 13 episodes. However that doesn't mean that the story doesn't move forward. Throughout the episodes Ryuji and Taiga start to realize their feeling for each other and do not wish to be with whoever they normally set out to be with. However once it reaches to episode 19 things start getting a little interesting.
Episode 19 takes place at a Christmas party where both Ryuji and Taiga attend to. Taiga leaves the party early and manages to convince Minori to show up to the dance because Ryuji had told her that he was going to wait for her all night if he had too. However once Taiga leaves Ryuji's plan chance and Ryuji decides to do something for Taiga that makes her really happy. Ryuji trades his fancy suit and feelings for Minori for a Teddy Bear Santa Clause custom and arrives at Taiga's apartment. Taiga gets very happy and they seem to have a tender moment but in the end she sends Ryuji back because Minori is going to show up at the dance. After Taiga sends Ryuji back she breaks down and cries in the middle of the street because she figures out that once Ryuji gets with Minori, she won't get a chance to spend time with him anymore.
Tensions keep growing as time goes on for Minori, Ami, Taiga, and Ryuji. Minori and Ami both have strong feelings for Ryuji but both know that there can never be anything between them because they both see Ryuji's feelings for Taiga. However after everything is said everything settles, Ryuji and Taiga finally tell their feelings to each other but in the end Taiga decides to go back to her mother's because she does not want to go leave with all her problems and decides to reconcile her relationship with her mother.
Throughout the entire episode Taiga leaves and doesn't come back until the very end of the episode. A year later during their graduation Ryuji sees Taiga on their classroom and runs towards her. However she decides to hide in the locker where everything started and wanted to surprise Ryuji but fails. Ryuji finally tells Taiga that he loves her but Taiga gets angry because she believes that it should have been done more romantically.

Toradora! is a very interesting and unique anime. It's hard not to get into and the story is just great. While it may not feature Demon's or crime it does have a great love story that should be watched with your significant other or by yourself if you love anime. While the first 5 episodes drag on a bit the last 7 episodes have a lot of heart and bring the story to a close. There are more events on the first 13 episodes but the last 7 episodes is what make the anime. All in all Toradora! is a great anime and is definitely worth adding to your collection and no matter how many times you watch it you will always enjoy the story.

#5 Best Console of all time
Here is the #5 Best console of all time brought to you by The Gooch and The Dooshebag.
There are many Best Consoles videos and articles out there and by far I think these are the most legit and funny while others rely on their scripted papers. If you go to youtube and Look up IGN's top 25 consoles of all time some don't make sense. Did I say some, I mean all of it. The top 25 consoles of all time. Might as well say that every console that has come out since the creation of Home consoles is the best console of all time. That is why I believe that these are the best videos when it comes to the top 10 Best and Worst Consoles of all time.

White iPhone Delayed until April.
In short news, the white Apple iPhone has been delayed due to some unexplained circumstances. I think that the white color case is not compatible with the iPhone Hardware and Apple is just trying to work out the bugs before they ship a high quality product to the consumer.
Inuyasha: The Final Act on Hulu.
It seems a lot of people are unaware of this.
Inuyasha is an anime that is known by many anime fans. Probably most famous is the fact that they never concluded the anime. It's been years now and the Manga has been done for quite some time now and most viewers were left out. Now or should I say for quite some time now Inuyasha: The final act has finished it's run and is now is available Hulu.
However this are only the English Sub but for an Inuyasha fan this should be enough. However if you wish to see the actual Dub versions are in production and should appear sometime in the near future. So if you wish to see the final act or any other Inuyasha Episodes, they are now available on Hulu.
Here is the first episode.

No More Heroes is PS3 Exclusive
Nintendo loses an Exclusive title to Sony.
One of the things that get me angry is how a dev doesn't get the credit he deserves. No More Heroes 1 and 2 was praised by the press but because it was on a console whose target audience was little kids and family it could never find any ground to stand on.
Suda 51 even made a signing event for people who purchase the games but besides people from the press no one showed up to purchase the game which ended up selling only 10K units at launch.
Now it seems that No More Heroes has found a new home and hopefully one that will bring them better success.
The games which is an HD remake of the first will be a Playstation Exclusive with Playstation Move Support.
El Segundo, Calif. – Oct 26, 2010 – KONAMI Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced today that No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise is coming to PlayStation 3 and will be compatible with Sony’s new PlayStation Move controls. Developed by AQ Interactive Inc., No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise will be available exclusively for PlayStation 3 in North America as Travis Touchdown returns to become the world’s number one assassin.
In No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise, players journey through the sunny city of Santa Destroy as Travis Touchdown, battling to eliminate some of the world’s deadliest assassins. Equipped with a razor sharp Beam Katana sword, players start off as the 11th ranked assassin and try to move up the ranks to position themselves as the ultimate killer. During the course of the game, players encounter Sylvia, a mysterious woman from the United Assassins Association, who arranges fights with other higher ranked assassins to help Travis become the number one in the world. Players will either ride through the town on Travis’ trusty motor bike or travel on foot to arrive at Travis’ next assignment.
Using either a DUALSHOCK 3 wireless controller or the PlayStation Move motion controller players have access to a wide range of physical assaults and katana attacks, with each bout tracked by a dynamic camera that showcases the game’s stunning visuals and cinematic fight sequences. By varying the grip and control of the Beam Katana and the timing of their attacks, players have a wide range of moves at their disposal to help Travis battle and defeat his enemies. Defeated foes can also be dispatched with stunning finishing moves, allowing Travis to cement his rising reputation with a series of breathtaking kills.
Travis’ progression is enhanced via a series of sub-missions as well as the ability to hone his skills and upgrade his weapon within the lab. Santa Destroy is a living, breathing place, and the anti-hero can enter shops, visit a gym to train, and collect special icons that will enhance his attack options. As players progress through the game, they will have the opportunity to complete deadly missions and side jobs as they make their way up the ladder of the United Assassins Association.
Aside from the side missions, players will also be able to enjoy newly added game modes like “Rebout Mode” where former foes can be challenged again. Also, players will have the opportunity to encounter additional boss characters that were not available in the original episode but will be on the PlayStation®3 version of the game. Additionally, “Viewer Mode” is also available allowing players to re-watch infamous cut scenes in crystal clear HD graphics. With its stunning visuals, additional levels of action, improved AI and an incredible level of control, No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise represents a welcome return for one of gaming’s most daring creators.

Toradora! Vol 1 Review
An oddball couple thrown into a series of events that is both comical and interesting.
Toradora is a Japanese manga, turned anime and brought over to the states by NIS America. Toradora is the combination of the actual Japanese translation of both main characters which are as follows: Taiga sound like Tiger in English and Tiger in Japanese Translates to Tora. Ryuji means son of dragon in Japanese and dragon in Japanese is pronounced Doragon. Mix both of them and you get the title Toradora!. Confused? So are we but let's move on.
Toradora! tells the story of Ryuji Takasu and Taiga Aisaka. Ryuji feels ashamed of who he is and how he looks because he takes after his father who was a well known criminal. Because of this anyone who runs into him is automatically intimidated into handing him their wallets without Ryuji saying anything. He is misunderstood throughout the whole series as being a bad person because he looks like his father. One of his only friends Yusaku, keeps trying to cheer him up but fails most of the time. Taiga Aisaka is one of Ryuji's classmates and is nicknamed the palmtop tiger because of how short she is and her short temper. She tries so hard to capture Yusaku's attention by leaving a note in his backpack however she mistakenly puts the note on Ryuji's backs and that leads to a whole web of crazy events which puts Ryuji in the middle of it all.
There are a total of 25 episodes divided into 2 volumes. Volume 1 includes the first 13 episodes which explain who the characters are and where they come from. Volume 2 deals with the characters growing fond of each other as well as experiencing rivalries and rejection from other peers.
In the first few episodes, because of the note that Taiga left on Ryuji's backpack, thinking that he read it wants' to kill Ryuji or at least hit him in the head hard enough so he can forget the events of what happened. Both Ryuji and Taiga strike a deal that will help both of the in the long run. Ryuji will help Taiga hook up with Yusaku and Taiga will help Ryuji hook up with her best friend Minori. Because Taiga thinks she is doing Ryuji a great favor she treats him like a dog in the beginning episodes. Ryuji has no other options but to take the abuse.
A new character is introduced in episode 5 and focuses on her angel/devilish characteristics on episode who shows up to bring hell to all the other despite being a childhood friend of Yusaku. Her name is Ami and despite being kind, gentle and a fashion model but she's more than meets the eye. After Ami joins the cast the spider web begins to form where the main event starts to take place. From Episode 11 to 13 we see a huge event taking place in the High School. In these episodes we see Taiga's dad who wishes to reconcile his strange relationship with his daughter and it gives viewers an inside view into Taiga's past.
At first it seems like Toradora is just an anime about high school but as you watch these episodes you are sucked into the story of Taiga and Ryuji. It's a very sweet story that makes you want more before it's over. There are so many great moments in Toradora that if someone were to ask me what my favorite scene or episode was, I wouldn't be able to answer that question nor who my favorite character is. Each character brings something to the table and if one character was removed the story would have to drastically change probably for the worse. At the end of the 13th episode it seems that both Ryuji and Taiga got a step closer into being with who they originally wanted to be and lefts off with Taiga dancing with Yusaku.
When it comes to special features the Vol1 set is lacking. All you get with the set is a book that gives the user interviews of some of the cast as well as episode descriptions. It is best to avoid this book until after you have watched all episodes because there are some spoilers. While it may not give you everything about the episode it gives you enough to spoil what is going to happen. It also gives you an inside look at the characters and also show what different outfits the characters will use in the episode.
Closing Comments
The animation and storytelling of Toradora are nicely done. Each character matches the mood of the moment and their facial expressions tell everything. Each character brings something unique to the table including Ryuji's mom whom you see in a couple of episodes but plays an important role in the story. It would have been nice to see some special DVD features like making of or actor interviews and trailers of some sort or even the story behind Toradora but sadly we didn't. The book that comes with it is a nice addition and it's hard for anyone not to look into it when they first open it up but like stated before reading it will spoil part of the story. Toradora is a great anyone that is definitely worth checking out if you love anime or even if you are looking for something to watch.
Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars.
